Denver Half Marathon (10/19/08)
- I finally managed to get this website revamped a bit and updated for 2009! I will also be adding a BLOG anyday now, which I will be updating with photos., thoughts, etc. on at least a weekly basis. Hopefully I'll have some interesting stuff to keep you coming back! (1/5)
- It's been a challenging couple of weeks. I got sick with the flu about two weeks ago and despite all efforts was not able to get over it in time to be able to compete in Clearwater. Definitely a dissapointment, but after a 7 month season I am more relieved to just have some time off. 2-3 weeks of rest now and then back at it. Congrats to everyone who did race this weekend in FL and especially to Terenzo Bozzone, who came out and absolutely dominated! (11/9)

- Ran the Denver half yesterday. Had perfect weather for a run, unfortunately my legs were shot from the past few weeks of heavy training. Even so, I still managed to run a 1:20 at elevation... hopefully this means that I'm on track to run 1:18-ish off the bike in Florida in a couple weeks. Now, the countdown to 70.3 World's begins! '09 Season Goals:
- Earn my Pro-card (rqmts.) and begin racing ITU races on the Continental Cup circut.
- Focus specifically on Olympic and half-Iron distance tri's. Improve average olympic time to under 1:59, half-Iron time to under 4:10.
- Finish out season as top 20 (nationally) in my age group M25-29.
- Top 3 Amateur overall finish at one of USAT's "Elite Qualifiying Races" in early '09.
- Run sub- 2:47 in the marathon, 1:17 in the half, sub 34:30 in the 10K and sub-16:20 in the 5K.
